Lady Gaga announced she is set to release a live rendition of her recent single, “Disease,” titled “Disease (The Antidote Live).” The track and its music video will drop today (Nov. 13) at noon ET, marking another highly anticipated release from the pop icon. While Gaga hasn’t revealed where the live version was recorded, the announcement adds excitement as fans eagerly await more from her upcoming seventh studio album.

Gaga initially introduced “Disease” with a haunting music video released on Oct. 29, just in time for Halloween. She described the track as a deeply personal exploration of her own fears and inner struggles, reflecting on the challenge of facing parts of herself that she might want to escape. Despite trying to "run" from these elements of herself, Gaga acknowledged that they are a part of who she is.

The release comes after she also dropped a live version of her hit collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile,” a Grammy-nominated track that spent eight weeks at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.

In October, Gaga also surprised fans with Harlequin, a companion LP to Joker: Folie à Deux that features jazz and pop standards, along with some originals. Harlequin debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 and earned Gaga her third No. 1 on the Billboard jazz charts. With her next album slated for release in February, Gaga continues to demonstrate her versatility and creative range, from jazz to pop and back again. Fans can look forward to “Disease (The Antidote Live)” as a unique addition to her evolving discography.

Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres tour, already named the largest rock tour ever by Billboard Boxscore with grosses surpassing $1 billion, is about to grow even larger. The band has announced a massive concert at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25, 2025. The show, which Coldplay has called their “biggest-ever” concert, will feature a “mystery guest” and take place at India’s largest stadium, which can accommodate up to 132,000 fans. Tickets go on sale at noon IST on Saturday, November 16, and are expected to be in high demand.

This Ahmedabad show follows Coldplay’s previously announced performances in Mumbai, where they will play three dates at the D Y Patil Stadium. Known primarily as a venue for major cricket matches and political events, Narendra Modi Stadium will welcome Coldplay’s unique blend of rock, pop, and immersive visuals to what promises to be an unforgettable night for fans.

The Music Of The Spheres tour, which kicked off in 2022, has been an unparalleled global success. In addition to shattering box office records, Coldplay has also kept fans engaged by bringing surprises and unique moments to each show. Recently, while performing in Sydney, Chris Martin gave a shoutout to Travis Scott by covering his track “Goosebumps,” calling it his favorite song by the rapper. Scott responded enthusiastically, praising Coldplay’s rendition of his hit.

In addition to an unexpected cover in Sydney, Martin experienced a memorable slip during a Melbourne performance when he accidentally fell through a hole in the stage but managed to laugh off the incident, underscoring the band’s upbeat approach to touring.

Next year, Coldplay’s journey will resume in Abu Dhabi on January 9, before heading to India. The band’s tour will then take them to North America for a series of summer shows and is expected to wrap up with a record-breaking 10-night finale at London’s Wembley Stadium in August 2025.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the iconic charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”, a special edition titled the 2024 Ultimate Mix will be released on November 25. This celebratory version will blend the voices of stars across the song’s four iterations — from the original 1984 release to its subsequent recordings in 1989, 2004, and 2014. The new music video, directed by Oliver Murray, promises fresh visuals to accompany the track, with a trailer already generating excitement among fans.

Originally composed by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise awareness and funds for famine relief in Ethiopia, the song quickly became a holiday classic and one of the best-selling singles in U.K. history. Proceeds from the Band Aid Charitable Trust have supported various initiatives tackling poverty in Africa, raising over £140 million ($178 million) since the song’s inception.

The 2024 Ultimate Mix features iconic vocal takes, including Sting, Boy George, and George Michael from 1984’s recording, Bananarama from the 1989 version, Sugababes, Chris Martin, and Robbie Williams from 2004, and Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, and Sam Smith from 2014. U2’s Bono, a recurring vocalist across versions, will appear three times in this anniversary mix. Instrumental contributions from legends like Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, and Thom Yorke, woven together by producer Trevor Horn, add a powerful layer of nostalgia and musicianship to the updated track.

Upon its original release in 1984, Do They Know It’s Christmas? became the fastest-selling single in U.K. history, holding the record until Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind” in 1997. It topped the U.K. Official Singles Chart each time it was re-released and reached No. 13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

The song's success also led to the massive 1985 Live Aid concerts, which brought global attention to African famine relief efforts through simultaneous shows in London and Philadelphia. However, the portrayal of Africa in the song and related media has faced criticism over the years. Critics like Moky Makura of Africa No Filter have noted that the portrayal has often reinforced stereotypes and contributed to a “patronizing” view of the continent, calling attention to the impact of such messaging on Western perceptions of Africa.

With its mix of legacy voices and modern production, the 2024 Ultimate Mix aims to bring the message of “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to a new generation while continuing the song’s charitable mission. Fans can look forward to its release and the accompanying video as the latest chapter in Band Aid’s history unfolds.

Duran Duran's legendary frontman, Simon Le Bon, was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for his impactful career in music and commitment to charitable work. Le Bon accepted the honor on November 12 at Windsor Castle from Prince William, marking a momentous occasion for the singer whose career has defined a generation of music and style.

In a heartfelt response, Le Bon expressed his surprise and appreciation: “It’s incredible and totally unexpected.” Reflecting on the recognition, he shared, “It is fitting that the honour has been awarded not just for my role in music, but also for the work I’ve been fortunate to be involved with outside the band for some of the causes I believe in.” Le Bon’s commitment extends to ocean conservation with the Blue Marine Foundation, supporting disadvantaged youth through the Tall Ships Youth Trust, and lending his passion for sailing to benefit the Air Ambulance Service.

Le Bon also opened up about his musical journey, noting how he once faced intense stage fright: “I used to be a very nervous performer. I was terrified, and slowly I’ve been able to overcome that fear.” Today, he embraces the thrill of performing, saying, “I just walk out there, and it feels natural to me.”

As a pivotal figure in the 1980s New Romantic scene, Le Bon’s influence with Duran Duran remains strong. With iconic hits like “Hungry Like the Wolf,” “Rio,” and “Girls on Film,” the band has accumulated numerous awards over the years, including a Brit Award for Lifetime Achievement, two Ivor Novello Awards, and two Grammy Awards. Duran Duran was also inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, solidifying their legacy.

Le Bon and Duran Duran have continued to innovate, with their 2023 Halloween-themed album, Danse Macabre, reaching No. 4 on the U.K. charts and breaking into the top 10 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. They celebrated Halloween with a sold-out performance at Madison Square Garden and released an extended edition of Danse Macabre, along with the concert film Secret Oktober.

The band’s impact has been felt not just through their music but also in pop culture, capturing the admiration of fans like Princess Diana. Le Bon fondly recalled her playful spirit, sharing a memory of her wolf-whistling at him in a gym, remarking, “Nice legs! I’d recognize that bum anywhere!” Duran Duran honored her legacy in 2007, joining artists like Elton John, Tom Jones, and Rod Stewart for a Wembley Stadium memorial concert organized by Prince William and Prince Harry.

With Simon Le Bon at the helm, Duran Duran’s journey from the glam of the ’80s to their present-day relevance has inspired millions, and Le Bon’s MBE is a testament to his enduring influence in both music and philanthropy.

The drama surrounding CKY's abrupt removal from their joint U.K. tour with Alien Ant Farm has taken center stage, as CKY’s guitarist Chad I Ginsburg and Alien Ant Farm’s frontman Dryden Mitchell clash over an alleged altercation. Just hours before the tour was set to kick off at Margate’s Dreamland on November 9, Mitchell announced via social media that CKY would no longer be part of the lineup due to an incident in which Ginsburg allegedly punched him.

Mitchell took to Instagram, claiming, "Chad from CKY hasn’t figured out how to cohabitate with others after all these years." He alleged that Ginsburg's behavior had been consistently disrespectful towards crew and band members, culminating in a physical confrontation. “Chad punched me in the face earlier today,” he added, stating that Ginsburg’s actions were the last straw after what he described as a series of disruptive behaviors, including reportedly leaving messes for others to clean and causing "general drama."

Mitchell went on to express regret over the situation, apologizing to CKY’s fans and praising CKY members Jess Margera and Elvis Baskette, clarifying that his issues were specifically with Ginsburg. He expressed hope that Ginsburg might seek therapy and that, “maybe in 25 years… we can shake hands.”

In response, Ginsburg initially urged U.K. fans to request refunds, stating, “I had NO choice and GOOD reason for what happened. I will always defend myself.” Later, he shared more details on his side of the story through Instagram stories, describing the altercation as an act of “self-defense” against a perceived threat from Mitchell. According to Ginsburg, he felt physically threatened when Mitchell, "a very angry guy muttering then yelling" at him, charged toward him. He claimed he reacted instinctively to avoid what he felt was an imminent attack.

Despite the incident, CKY’s Australian tour scheduled for February appears to remain intact. The Phoenix, the tour’s promoter, issued a statement on November 10, acknowledging the altercation and expressing their intent to keep the tour on track, adding humorously, “In the words of The Offspring, we may have to keep them separated…”

For now, Alien Ant Farm continues their U.K. tour with replacement acts filling in for CKY, while fans of both bands are left hoping for a resolution. CKY and Alien Ant Farm are both slated to perform at Download 2025, though whether they’ll share the same stage is yet to be confirmed.
